We have been talking to Gryfinn about Santa, and him bringing presents. And talking about stuff that he may want. And of course, he now wants EVERYTHING that he sees on t.v. or in a magazine - he says 'Oh, me want that!' about everything. And he has also taken to telling us what Jarrod and Jayk want - which is sometimes on target - like Jayk wants the pixos thing, and Jarrod likes Pokemon - so he will tell us that they want those things when he sees them. But he will also tell us that they want things such as the Barbie Ice Princess. Which we think is too funny!
We were out at the Mall a few weeks ago, and they had a kiosk (sp?) set up with calendars. And they had one with baby weimaraners. They are just the absolute cutest! So I got the calendar to show Gryfi. And I told him to tell Mama that he wants a little Ollie for Christmas. And he did - cause he repeats everything! Now when asked what he wants for Christmas, he plainly says 'A picture of Ollie!' How cute is that! Such a sweet lil two year old mind. When shown the picture, he was not thinking that oh, I want a little Ollie, it was that it was a picture and that he wants a picture of Ollie.
He won't have anything to do with Santa. We have tried on 2 separate occasions. The first time we were at the Mall - and we did get him to go in, and we did get a picture, but Kel and I ended up in it. That was the only way to get Gryfinn near Santa. The picture isn't bad, just that Jarrod and Jayk weren't with us so they aren't in it. The second time, we wanted to get all 4 of the kids. It was at the place where we went to see Christmas Lights. Santa is in a log cabin with a fire place. It is a really nice set up. But Gryfinn would not go anywhere near him. He would just yell 'NO!!' everytime we asked him to talk to Santa. He was holding my hand, standing behind me, looking the opposite way. He was not going to have anything to do with the bearded man in the red suit!

All our son wants for Christmas is two videos (Winnie the Pooh and Mamma Mia) and a 9 year old big brother. If not that, he would like another baby and another baby and another baby...

The Rock Band thing would have made me so mad too- but good job with the fake call to Wal-Mart- that sounds just like something we would have done. I "fake" call people all the time. Anger management therapist, Military school's etc. Gotta scare the kids. :)

The Rockband thing was funny! Yeah, we also do things like send them on scavenger hunts, they get clues to each location. It really is so fun being a parent. lol - I love your blog, you girls have a beautiful family!
Kate and I got married in Hawaii, on the island of Maui. We love Hawaii, Kates parents live there in Maui, so we go there every June. What island are you getting married on?
