Kel's Day At the Baseball Field

Jaykie had a baseball game at 12, (it didn't start til about 12:45) and Jarrod had a football game at 1:00 (it started at about 1:15). So, Kel and I had to split up. She kept the little ones with her at the baseball field, as it is easier to have them there than at the football field. By the pic's below, it looks like they had a great time (with the exception of Gryfi getting hurt - bumped his arm or something). Oh, and yes - Gryfinn has pig tails, just like Caelyn. We can't do her hair without doing his. He wants to be pwetty too! :-) (and I wanted to add that unfortunately both boys lost. Jayk lost 8-4 and Jarrod lost 13-7.)

Hanging out in the car cause it was raining

Poor Gryfi - it sucks to get hurt.

Caelyn playing with the beach ball. She just woke
up and her eyes are still puffy.

My handsome little man!

Hope you all have a wonderful and fun filled weekend!

Wordfilled Wednesday - Braces, Football and other Randomness

****I have no idea why the font under football is so big. I have gone in to edit it, and it shows that it is normal size. So, please bare with me!****

Braces
Jayk got his braces on Monday. And I have to say that he looks super cute in them! His mouth has been a little sore, but nothing too bad. And he is also having a bit of a hard time eating. Just taking him longer. But he is adjusting well to them. He was way excited about them, and loves that he is now our Brace Face! ;-)

Right after they were put on!

Football

Jarrod had his first football game this past Saturday (tried to get pic's, but they played under the lights, so the pic's weren't turning out). It was the Premier Game. The first season game is thsi Saturday. They lost 21-0. But, I have to say they played a great second half. They did not let the other team score at all the second half. And I have to say, that their football team is like the Bad News Bears of football. They kids don't listen, they run their mouths, and their are lots of potty words coming out of those mouths. The team got a penalty cause two kids on the team got into it on the field. One called the other a fucking (n word) and the other responded by calling him a bitch. So not fun. And the bad part is that they don't have enough kids to bench these kids when they do this stuff. There are only 14 kids on the team, and 1 of those kids is on vacation. So there were only 2 kids sitting at any time. And most of the kids played the entire game, both offense and defense, with the only breaks being half time, between quarters and at half time. Jarrod seemed really down after the game. Kel and I were getting worried about him. But, it ended up being that he was coming down with something, as he started running a fever Sunday night. I have to say that I was relieved that he was sick. He still seems to be in good spirits about football. He is concerned about his team though. But we keep telling him to continue to be a positive role model. To be a leader. That some kids will follow.

Before he left for the game. Had to get a pic to send
to Kel as she was still at Jayk's baseball game.

Other Randomness

Jarrod's Dad and I are getting along. He finally apologized. There for awhile, he was telling Jarrod that he was going to take me back to court for shared parenting. So we were getting ourselves prepared for that. Cause I know that if he did, he would bring up me being gay, not that that means anything. But, people like that try to use whatever they can to make themselves look better. But, little does he know, that it just makes him look like a prejudiced ass that is not very educated. Anyways, I think that has passed. And I was surprised when he apologized. Wasn't expecting it. But I am glad he did. Makes it easier. Especially on Jarrod. I am now trying to get him to negotiate with me on visitation. I want things to be easier for him, for me, and definitely for Jarrod. We shall see where that goes. I have a feeling that if his wife has anything to say about it - things won't change. Cross your fingers that he will work with me on this.

I have gone off the soda/pop/coke/mountain dew. The last I had was a mountain dew at Jarrod's football game Saturday - the only one I had that day. And I have not had any more since. The headaches are almost gone. I am still getting some caffeine from tea. So I am sure that is helping. I am now drinking mostly water. And I have started back up on the treadmill. On Monday, I am going to start going to MikeTinaEli's (said as a runon cause that is how Gryfinn says it, as if they are one person - it is Kel's brother and his wife and their son) house and using their weight lifting thing. I am going to do that twice a week to start off, and might increase it to 3 times. And I am also warding off all things chocolate and super fattening. Which has been hard this week, since my period came yesterday morning. But, I have kept strong. And I figure, if I can be strong at my time of the month, when my body all but screams CHOCOLATE then the rest of the time should be a piece of cake! :-)

I also want to thank all of you who had such wonderful words of wisdom for those who have relationship woes. We all go through rough patches. And it is nice to know that it happens in even the most strongest, secure relationships. And there were lots of good ideas on how to keep connected. Thanks again! You all are great! :-)

Also - for those that were holding your breath for pictures - I sure hope you gave up! ;-) I had every intention of posting pic's while I was off work, buuuuttt, I just did not get on the computer. Well, I did once, and that was to look at a house for my sister/niece. But, I promise, they are coming! I have tons, from Caelyn's party, her 1 year pictures, from Jayk's party, from Gryfinn's party, from baseball, from the park, from playing outside, there really are tons. I may need to put together one of those montage things - and then that way those that want to see them all can sit through and see them all - and for those that don't they don't have too.

Ok - I have rambled on quite a bit, so I shall go. Until next time! Hugs!!

My Cheesers!

Jayk at his All Star Awards Picnic.
I think this smile actually says 'COME ON!! I
WANNA GO PLAY KICK BALL!!' :-)

Caelyn was standing behind him, 'getting him',
that's why his shoulders are all scrunched up!
They are so cute playing together!

You can see his dimple! - and the remnants of
cookie around his face!

The quality of the pic's isn't the best - cell phone pic's - I have a TON to share that are on one of the memory cards. I am off work next week - so my goal is to get them posted. Just don't hold your breath! :-)

Silly Faces

Caelyn went with me to football practice last night. And she is such a wonderer - and was getting rather mad at me, cause how dare I not let her run out into the parking lot. So - we ended up back in the car. And once I showed her the vanity mirror on the passenger side - her vanity showed. She got excited, and laughed and made faces at herself. She had me just a laughing at her! And thankful that I had my phone with me so I could get pictures of her!!

This look says 'do you see that baby in there?!'
She was rather excited when she saw her reflection!

Pointing to herself in the mirror

Making faces at herself in the mirror

Laughing at herself - cause her silly faces are just
too funny!!!
