We have finally finished the regular season of baseball. The last week was quite busy, as we had rain out games to make up. Jayk was selected for All Stars, so those practices have started. The first tournament isn't until the 2nd weekend of July. July is the busiest month for us, as we have Jayk's birthday on the 5th, two nephews birthdays - one on the 8th and one on the 18th, and Gryfinn's on the 29th. So we have a birthday party every weekend, on top of baseball tournaments. So there is a lot of juggling of our schedules. One will go to games while the other takes the kids to the parties. I tell ya, I will be so ready for our vacation at the end of August. I have been on maternity leave, and still have 3 weeks to go, but I feel like we are so darn busy these days. I long for the time that I will get to spend with Kel when on vacation. I am tired of having to split up so much to do this or that. I know that it is the best thing to do, but it is really wearing on me. Which I am sure it is mainly due to the post partum hormones. Being away from her so much these days is just making me sad. And then when I take Jayk to practice, I usually leave one of the lil ones with her, if not both, since it has been so hot, and gas is too much for us to sit and run the AC, so I am missing the kids too. I can't wait for the family time that we will get when on vacation.
Ok - so here's an update on Caelyn. At her 2 week check up she weighed 7lbs 6oz, and was 21 inches! So, Mommy's milk does her body good!! She is a good sleeper at night. Last night, she ate at 9, got a bath, and was down for bed by 10. And she did not wake up until 4am!! I was hurting, my poor breasts weren't ready for that. I of course kept checking on her, to make sure she was ok. Paranoid - yes I am!
I have been pumping on occasion, so Kel has gotten to give her a bottle. And the other night, Gryfinn helped feed her! I was at a ball game, so she took a picture! It is really cute. I will post it below. Gryfinn is doing great with her. We actually even got him to hold her the other day. It only lasted like 2 seconds, so we didn't get a picture, cause we weren't expecting it. He has really taking a liking to the movie Alvin and the Chipmunks, which is a nice change. Alwin - as Gryfinn says - is on now. And he just laughs at those silly chipmunks! It's too cute!

Not sure why but some of the pic's are so big. I resized them all, but obviously some of them did not take. The pic's of Jarrod and Jayk, and of Gryfinn giving Caelyn a bottle, and a few others, are just huge, and then when I publish the blog, it cuts off half the pic. I have had that problem with photobucket before. Who knows? Maybe it's me! :o) Let me try and post through blogger........

Ok - looks like I got it all figured out - just hope it turns out once it is published! And now I am too tired myself to really even worry about it. And since I am blogging, and it took me WAY longer than expected, I haven't put Gryfinn to bed yet. And I usually put him down no later than 10:30 - so I am almost 45 minutes late. And the super sad thing is, he just came and told me night-night. I am horrible. I am going to go and snuggle my lil man to make up for it.
