Jarrod and Jaykob

Quick update on my older boys.

Jarrod has started basketball. He is doing really good, considering this is the fist time he has played on an actual team. They have played driveway basketball with the neighborhood kids, but this is different. They are working him really good, lots of running, but it is good for him. He is doing great in school. He is working on the talking, and hasn't gotten into trouble, which is good. He is 11 now - which still doesn't seem possible. He is growing up waaaay too fast.

Jaykob is doing great in school, and is really loving his GT (giften and talented) class. He was a bit intimidated at first. He is used to being the smartest kid in the class, and in GT, he isn't. They are all on the same level. So that was a change for him. But I think the class is great for him. It is challenging him, and he needs that. His basketball league is only instructional and not competitive, so his hasn't started up yet. I will have pictures to post of both the boys playing once it starts.
