Be my motivation!!!

So I'm posting these pics to motivate myself. And to also kind of hold myself responsible for doing the program. Or something like that.

And I want to complete this program and keep running for not only myself but also for my family. I want to be healthier. And I want my kids to see me be healthier.

And I have also decided that it's all about being healthy. Not about losing weight or being skinny. Just to be healthy. I don't want to worry about anything else. And I don't want to give my daughter body image issues. I have always had issues with my body. Even when I was only 100 pounds soaking wet. And I don't want to set my daughter up for that. It's rough and makes life rough. I just want her to be comfortable with her body. No matter how big or small. So I need to do better at setting a good example for her. And for my boys too. And my wife... Cause when I feel better about myself, she feels the rewards of that ;) ;)

Ok, with all that being said I will post pics....

C25K week 2.1

C25K week 2.2 ~ this one kicked my ass a little! Could be because my routine was different and I had not had breakfast or very much water. But I did it!! And even though it kicked my ass, it was a good ass kicking!!

Randomness...

The littles have been all about asking questions from when they were all babies. Especially when we are in the car. It seems to help pass the time, and they love hearing stories about things that they would do or say.

On Sunday we were headed to Jayk's baseball tournament. And I was telling them about the silly things Gryfinn would do or say.

I had just told them the story of when Gryfinn was a couple weeks old and we were school clothes shopping for Jarrod and Jayk. Mama changed Gryfinn's diaper in the car and he pooped on her lap.  After some serious giggling, Gryfinn says  "I had the funny life and Caelyn had the beautiful life"

June has been an extremely busy month. This was our first year with all 4 kids playing baseball. And it has been an adventure!! Just in the month of June, we had 34 scheduled baseball games, 5 baseball tournaments, a pitching camp, a birthday and a 1 year wedding anniversary. Our house has been neglected, we hardly ever sit down and eat dinner together, but I wouldn't change it for anything. I absolutely love watching our kids do something that they love. Nothing makes me happier!!!

But, with that being said.... I can not wait for vacation!!! We are heading to the beach in July! And let me tell ya, it is needed!! After all of the hustle and bustle in the month of June, a week away with my family, relaxing, with no time schedule, is just what I need!

C25K week 1.2 - a little sweaty, but I feel good!!

C25K..... Take 3

Soooo.... I have tried this before. First time I did it for a week... The second time I made it into the second week. I'm hoping that the third times the charm. That I will make it all the way through it. I honestly absolutely LOVE how I feel when I am done. The first couple of reps are hard, and then I get my breathing down and the feel for it, and it feels good.  I feel good. I just want that feeling to stick with me and remind me how much I enjoy it. How good I feel.

And ya know, I wanna say I run. I want to be a runner. So, in gonna work at it. And hopefully, succeed!

Sugar and Spice... and Everything Nice!

Today is a BIG day in our house.  The BABY... the PRINCESS... turns FIVE!  Yep, FIVE!!

I honestly, truly honestly, have NO idea where the time has gone.

Cause there is no way that it was FIVE years ago when we took this picture.....

or this picture.....

We knew that having a little girl would be different.  We had 3 boys, and although each of them are different, having a little girl is WAY different.  She is way more independent than our boys were... are. lol  She is self sufficient.  We joke and say that if something were to happen and the kids were somehow stranded alone, that they would survive because of her.  But, with self sufficiency comes independence.  And with independence comes stubborness.  And with stubborness comes attitude.  And with attidude comes eye rolling.  And with eye rolling comes that little fluctuation in her voice when she says things like, "Well, duuUUUhh, Fif.  Of course I want the pink one."  (.... she still has a hard time saying Gryfinn or Gryf, so she calls him Fif :)

And on top of all of the teenage attitude that she has at such a young age, she is the sweetest, most loving little Princess.  She has the biggest heart for anything with fur or under the age of 2.  She will spot a baby from far away, and beg me to walk over so that she can see him/her closer.  And we get asked weekly if we can get a puppy or a kitty.  Mind you, we have two cats and a dog... but they are not puppy/kitty cute, so they don't count.

And the hugs this little girl gives.  She will wrap her little arms and legs around you and just squeeze!

And yes, she is full of sugar and spice, and everything nice.  But, don't let her fool you.  Snips and snails and puppy dog tails make up this little girl also!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CAELYN ALEXA!!
Being your Mommy is truly a gift, and I am very blessed!!
