What If Tomorrow Never Comes?
We lost a very dear friend today. She wasn't sick with cancer. She wasn't dying. It just happened. She started feeling bad. They took her to the ER. Our local hospital was not equipped to handle it, they had to get her stable to move her to the University hospital, and it never happened. They think it was a blood clot that went to her lungs. Her sister seems to think it all stems from a new med they put her on for migraines - cause she started to go down hill from there. They said shortness of breath was a side effect but that after 6 or so weeks it would subside. 4 weeks later, and she is gone. She is gone. I have to keep saying it, cause it just does not feel real. She is gone. Rhonda is gone. My friend is gone. Everytime I close my eyes, I see her face. I can hear her laugh. I can see the look she would get when she was pissed off or annoyed. We were always saying - We need to get together. The weather is getting warmer, lets go to the park and have a picnic. Or the weather is getting cooler, let's get together and have a cookout. But we didn't. I listened to one of her audio books, and I kept forgetting to tell her. I never told her what I thought of it. And I thought it was really really good. Her birthday was yesterday, and I have excuses as to why I didn't call or text - but the only one that counts was that I was too busy to take 30 seconds to send her a text. So I thought I could make it up to her today, since I had to go into the office and she would be there. She should have been there. But she wasn't. And she never will be again. I just hope that she knows that even though at times when life was busy, that I still cared, that I still care, and that I always will.
We all tell our friends and our family - that we will get together soon. That we will come over some other time. We will be at your party/get together next time. That maybe tomorrow I will have time to call. But what if there isn't a next time? What if soon is too late? What if there never is some other time? What if tomorrow never comes? Cause sometimes it doesn't. Will they know how much we cared? Will they know how much they meant? Will they know that they were loved? Will they know how they have affected our lives?
I prayed and prayed for Rhonda today. Now I am praying for her sister and her parents. Rhonda and her sister were very close. They weren't just sisters, they were best friends. I know her loss is deep. And I don't know the words to say to her. Pam, I love you, and I am sorry. More sorry than words can express.

She Is Our Dream Come True!
Twinkle, Twinkle, You're The Star
Wonderful Is What you Are!!
So Here's A Wish That's Just For You
May All Your Birthday Dreams Come True!!
Two years ago today, this little bundle joined our lives and brightened it in so many ways. It does not feel like it is possible that it has been two years, the time has gone extremely fast. But it is hard to remember what our lives were like before her. She is her own little person, and she gives new meaning to the saying sugar and spice! She is full of love and hugs and energy and attittude and stubborness and giggles - she is oh so full of giggles! She loves her brothers so very much, and she prefers her Moms over everyone else - even Grandma!! And even though it saddens me at how fast the time goes, I love watching her grow and seeing the person she is becoming. She really is our dream come true!!
Happy Birthday Caelyn Alexa!
We love you so very much!!
